In the everyday world, there are dozens of examples where we are given second chances in a testing environment, such as SATs or driving tests. This is because the assumption is that the second time around, test takers will study the material better and therefore improve their performance on the test. What workplace or learning environment wouldn’t benefit from having test takers know the material better?
